Realism tattoo in Madrid

It depends on size, body part and level of detail, because what you are paying for is working time. A small portrait on the forearm and the same size on the ribs are not the same price: the second area is slower and harder on you. That is why we give a closed price before you book, free and valid for 30 days. We are at Av. del Marqués de Corbera 33, in La Elipa.

A sharp, well-lit image, the higher the resolution the better. A photo of a photo on a phone screen loses exactly the detail a likeness needs: the eyes, the skin texture, the shadow transitions. If you only have a low-quality image, send it anyway and we will tell you honestly how far we can take it, instead of promising a likeness that will not hold.

A small piece can come out in one session. A half sleeve or a back piece almost never. Realism is built in layers of grey and the skin needs to recover between sessions for the next layer to hold properly, so forcing it into a single sitting usually gives a worse result. The quote tells you how many sessions we calculate and how long they are, before you book anything.

Because realism lives on detail, and detail needs space. Ink spreads slightly in the skin over the years: what are two separate shadows today can be a single blur in ten years. If your idea does not fit with dignity at the size you had in mind, we tell you even if it is not what you want to hear. We would rather lose the booking than hand you something that ages badly.

The studio works mostly in black and grey, which is where realism holds up best over time, and we bring in colour when a piece asks for it. You can see it in the gallery: pieces with one specific red over an otherwise grey base. If you want a full-colour piece, tell us when you ask for the quote and we will be honest about whether it is the best fit for you.

Upper arm, forearm, shoulder, thigh, chest and back behave best: stable skin, little friction and enough surface. Hands, feet, fingers and the neck are far less reliable because they rub, see sun and regenerate differently, so a fine gradient is lost there sooner. We tell you which group your idea falls into before you book, not after.

Yes, and you see it twice. First the drawing, which you can ask us to change as many times as needed. And on the day of the appointment, the stencil placed on your skin, so you can look at it in the mirror: if the angle, height or size does not sit right, it comes off and goes back on. We do not start until the placement convinces you.

The first two weeks: gentle washing, cream in a thin layer and no pool, beach or sauna. After that, sunscreen for life. Sun is what fades black and grey most, far more than the passing of time. Pieces above 400 € include the cream; below that we tell you exactly what to buy. The full aftercare sheet is published on the website.

If the touch-up fixes something attributable to our work, it is free. If it comes from poor aftercare, sun on a recent tattoo, a knock or another professional working over it, it is charged as a normal session. We explain this in the aftercare sheet on the day of your appointment, so there are no surprises or arguments afterwards. The studio is in La Elipa, Ciudad Lineal.

First you ask for a quote, which is free and commits you to nothing: tell us the idea, the body part and the approximate size and we come back with a closed price and number of sessions. If it works for you, the appointment is confirmed once the 50 € deposit is paid, or 10 % if the piece is over 600 €. You have 48 hours to pay it. We are open every day from 11:00 to 21:00.
